Like so many residents, I’ve been bewildered and disgusted by the constant release and dangerous use of fireworks in our area over the past few evenings.
I’ve contacted Garda management in Lucan, Ballyfermot and Ronanstown stations to explore what additional resources they need to deal with this.
I’ve also raised this with senior Garda officers at the Joint Policing Committee, urging action and funding on tackling the supply of these fireworks. In the meantime, make sure you report instances of this behaviour to local Garda stations.
